Creation of the Italian Section of the European Federalist Party

Dear Friends of the European Federalist Party,

On Sunday 1st July 2012 the Italian chapter of the European Federalist Party was officially established. The Italian name of the EFP is: PARTITO FEDERALISTA EUROPEO

The Party has been registered according to procedures required by the Italian law on 3rd July 2012.

The Party aims to take part to the national election in Spring 2013 as well as to the European Elections in 2014. To do so, a national electoral programme is being developed in accordance with the objectives outlined in the European programme of the EFP.

The Italian Section of the European Federalist Party is also exploring the best ways to strengthen its action by creating a network with other pro-Europe movements and parties. In the next two months we will work to increase both our visibility and our membership.

From now until the end of September (when a National Congress will be set up) the National Council of the Partito Federalista Europeo will be composed as follows:

Vice President: Marco Marazzi
